LLART 182 - Layer-It Up: Watercolor Flower Pots

Create a colorful flowerpot brimming with flowers as you learn to draw connecting shapes and mix and mingle paint to create layers of color and dimension. Use both "wet on dry" and "wet on wet" techniques to create dappled light and deep shadows for a dramatic lighting effect. This simplified but satisfying process will allow you to create one or more flowerpots during class. Images of European scenes will be provided, or work from a photo of your own front porch. All levels of experience are welcome.
