In an unprecedented era of technological and process innovations with the potential to transform health service delivery (HSD) and the way we train and deploy the global health workforce, and with a growing number of investors interested in impact and social investment, the potential to develop and bring about lower cost, higher quality, and thus more widely replicable, accessible, and effective health systems in lower income countries has never been greater. In this course we will consider the opportunities and challenges inherent in (HSD) and students will be better prepared to identify and create effective partnerships and nuanced, disruptive HSD solutions. Even if students choose not to engage in HSD, this course will help students approach complex global issues (public health or otherwise) with a more thoughtful, strategic mindset.
