OSHER 592 - Standing Up for Utah's Needs: A Call to Action

Each class will review one of Utah Citizens Counsel's areas of public policy, with current research and recommendations for public policy improvements at state and municipal levels. Topics include: environmental health, public education, health and health care, personal security (gun violence, hate crimes, suicides), economic inequality and social support systems, and participatory governance (transparency, accountability, ethics in government).
