Description
This course is a critical review of research methods used in cognitive neuroscience. Along with covering the basics of commonly used CNS techniques, the course will examine and challenge the assumptions on which the methods are based. This includes a consideration of what is meant by scientific thought, scientific method, hypothesis testing, and replicability, as well as concepts more specific to cognitive neuroscience such as multiple levels of analysis and processing models.
