Corequisites: "C-" or better in (MATH 3140 OR MATH 3150).
Description
Thermodynamic properties, open and closed systems, equations of state, heat and work, first and second laws of thermodynamics. Carnot cycles, reversibility, and entropy changes. Gas power, vapor power, and vapor compression refrigeration cycles. Introduction to gas mixtures and psychometrics.
