FRNCH 4610 - Survey of Medieval and Renaissance Literature

The literature and culture surveys focus on selected and representative works of the period under consideration. Courses are reading and writing intensive. They introduce students broadly to the period -- to literary works and their cultural context. Students will practice different kinds of textual analysis as well as actively participate in class discussions. From the Song of Roland to Montaigne.
