Prerequisites: FP MD 6100, 6300, 6311.
Description
Students will apply methods for planning and evaluating research in public health. The course presupposes and builds on a familiarity with epidemiology, biostatistics, and clinical research methods. The course is taught as a doctoral seminar and requires substantial involvement from enrolled students. Students will select and present methods papers for review in relation to their own proposed dissertation research. Students will develop their research idea into a full written proposal. Students will review each others written proposals.
