DES 1631 - Digital Communication

This communication module will introduce students to graphic communications in terms of basic layouts, typography and portfolio design. The course will cover digital graphic tools including Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop and their proper use and coordination in creative projects. Students' work from ComMod 1 will be used to explore methods for documenting and working with analog graphics using digital tools to create effective forms of assembling, analyzing and communication design concepts. This course is a pre-requisite for applying to the Design major.
