Description
In this interactive class, you'll learn how to use social media and content marketing tactics to attract and retain students to your department programs including majors, minors and certificates. This course, focused specifically for academic support staff, will review a variety of strategies that your department can implement - including free or minimal cost ideas. In this class, you'll learn how to: Create content that will attract the right students for your programs. Effectively utilize "calls-to-action" in your campaigns. Build a digital community for marketing sustainability. Utilize major social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Set goals and measure success. Align social media with your department's objectives. This course is designed for academic program support staff in roles that include student recruitment, program awareness and marketing or related activities.
