PROEA 860 - Data Analysis for the Modern Workforce Certificate

Part of the Degree Plus Certificate Series, the goal of this certificate program is to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue careers in data analysis. This includes strategies to collect and organize data, understand the implications of a data set to an organization, make data-driven suggestions, and how to effectively present those suggestions and findings to management. Students who complete this certificate program will have the ability to manipulate, and utilize large data sets to make business decisions. Students will understand where and how data is stored and ways to access data. Using excel, they will develop skills to model data, preparing visual presentations, and delivering conclusions personalized for key stakeholders. The program will culminate with a capstone project in which the student will work with a large dataset and build a presentation they can share. This certificate will also equip students with the 'hard skills' necessary to break into this competitive employment landscape.
