YETEC 614 - 21st Century Learning: Conquering High School and Beyond (Age 13-15)

Get a jump start on the school year! Set academic goals and start mapping out your future. Whether you want to become a social activist or create your own business, this class will transform your passions into reality. Work with Microsoft to familiarize yourself with software you will use in high school, college and beyond. Create a one-of-a-kind project with a team of like minded individuals that will sharpen your research and entrepreneurial skills. Don't worry this camp is not all work and no play. Visit different departments at the University and participate in different experiments and hands on activities. Then, at Camp K you will play games participate in a series of team building that focus on the learning and processing of 21st Century skills like self-confidence, self-control, persistence, flexibility, adaptability, curiosity, initiative, communication, and collaboration.
