ART 6580 - Graduate Art Teaching Practicum

Meets with ART 4540. The practicum is designed to develop students' competencies as teaching artists in community settings as well as to develop their understanding of civic engagement through participating in a service-learning internship. Under the supervision of an instructor and a community supervisor, students plan and implement an innovative community-based artwork in collaboration with community members.
