Description
This course focuses on business valuation theory and principles with a focus on valuing closely held entities. Topics include gathering and analyzing data, conducting site visits and interviews, researching economic and industry information, financial statement ratio analysis, income, market and asset-based approached to valuation, premiums and discounts (e.g. discounts for lack of marketability), and cost of capital estimation.
