POLS 3026 - Civic Engagement and Social Change

In this course, students will explore different practical approached to political issues, including community organizing, individual lifestyle choices, pursuing changes in public policy, artistic expression, or mobilizing the electorate. Students will deepen their understanding by studying theories about civil society and democracy and reviewing the current research on civic engagement.
