PROEA 122 - Managing your Business using Budgets and Financials

This four hour course builds upon the basics of managerial and financial accounting. You will gain a practical understanding of how to build a budget that serves as a work plan to move your organization forward strategically. Effective forecasting allows an organization to gauge its strengths and weaknesses in order to be sustainable over time. We will also review the fundamentals of reading a financial statement, generating variance explanations, and using cash flow projections to keep your agency on track and fiscally healthy.
