LAW 7899 - Applied Legal Writing

Applied Legal Writing builds on skills learned n a first-year legal writing course and provides students with significant experience researching and writing persuasive legal documents. Assignments are designed to improve students' ability to engage in legal research, complex legal analysis, and persuasive argument. The class also addresses critical writing skills such as structure, organization, grammar, word choice, and proper citation form. Enrollment is completed automatically by the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, or by their permission.
