PHCEU 7041 - Vaccines and Practical Uses of Immunology

Short course focusing on both conceptual and practical aspects of immunochemistry and vaccinology. Topics include: Review of Immunology including the immune response, humoral, cellular and mucosal immunity; applications of immunology in laboratory research; vaccine engineering and molecular vaccinology; vaccines in infectious disease, cancer, biodefense and therapeutic application; the politics of vaccines, and future trends in vaccinology.
