Description
Meets with SP ED 6710. Student teaching must be either concurrent of following the completion of the Special Education Early Childhood licensure program. Students are assigned a practicum setting with young children who are blind and/or visually impaired under direct supervision of a cooperating teacher for a minimum of 150 clock hours. Students will identify, analyze and interpret child needs, family issues, mobility issues, behavior problems, maintain an evaluation system and implement and manage educational programs for young children who are blind or visually impaired and their families.
