PROTA 120 - Apple Certified Professional- Final Cut Pro X

Final Cut Pro is a revolutionary video editing application that makes it possible for beginners and seasoned professionals to achieve stunning video production results. This certificate program provides students with hands-on experience with a range of software features- from basic editing tools to powerful, advanced, video production features. Participants who complete the required coursework receive an Apple Certificate from the University of Utah. Those who pass the Final Cut Pro Exam receive designation as an Apple Certified Professional- Final Cut Pro. Students may choose to take EDTEC 650, which is a five-day bootcamp, or they can take EDTEC 692, which meets with an eight week course taught in the Department of Film Studies.
