LLART 261 - Nature Sketching and Journaling

Nature sketching and journaling are an effective artistic way to record observations on everything from backyard gardens to world expeditions. Sketching is learning to look carefully, while journaling is recording your experience - an unbeatable combination designed to give you a deeper appreciation of the world we share. Warning! Keeping a nature sketchbook/journal may lead to an uncontrollable urge to spend more time out of doors exploring new and beautiful surroundings. Special fee covers sketchbook, field kit (Graphite, watercolor pencils and tools) and portfolio. All skill levels are welcome and beginners are encouraged to attend. Saturday's class will be held in the field.
