CHEM 7280 - Organic Spectroscopy II

This course introduces MS, IR, UV-Vis and Chiroptical spectroscopy. It also includes a practicum that combines the NMR, MS, IR, UV-Vis and optical rotation techniques to unequivocally characterize the chemical structure of a relatively complicated synthetic compound or natural product. Each student is required to solve the compound structure independently.
