FP MD 6640 - Social Injustice and Public Health

This course focuses on social injustice and its impact on health and health behaviors. This course will look at the importance of mental and behavioral health with regard to physical health and identify programs and policies that undermine social and health equity. Students will learn to demonstrate the need for bridging the gap between physical, mental and social well-being.
