BALLE 4210 - Pointe Methodology

This course introduces the methodology of teaching pointe technique for classical ballet. Students learn how to analyze the specifics of basic ballet movements performed on pointe, pedagogically sound class progressions related to strengthening, and how to design and develop learning outcomes. The class is taught in a lecture/lab format including micro-teaching experiences.
