Description
It has been said that in order for a president to achieve greatness he must face and overcome a great crisis. Franklin Roosevelt overcame three such crises--the Great Depression, the Second World War, and his own personal crisis with polio. In doing so, he and Eleanor Roosevelt, despite enormous personal disappointment and differences, forged one of the most important political partnerships in American history. The story of one is, in many ways, the story of both.
