LING 7001 - Proseminar for Ph.D. Students

Meets with LING 6001. The purpose of the Proseminar for PhD students is to provide students with various kinds of support during their first year fo PhD study. In particuluar, the Proseminar introduces students to various resources on campus (e.g., the Institutional Review Board, the library) and to concepts relevant to the study of Linguistics at the master lever (e.g., the logic of linguistic argumentation, inferential statistics). Other topics may be covered at the request of students.
