BIOEN 6303 - Cell and Tissue Engineering

This course will teach strategies of tissue engineering. Initial emphasis will be placed on stem cell biology, tissue development and repair to develop a fundamental understanding of the relationships between cells and tissues. Once this is established, the emphasis will shift to exploiting this understanding to rationally design and manipulate cell and tissue properties to alter, restore, maintain, and improve cell and tissue functions.
