Description
Bring your urban homestead full circle as you learn the proper techniques for taking a bird from the farm to the table. Each student is given the opportunity to learn to humanely kill, pluck, eviscerate, cool and bag your own bird under expert guidance. You will leave with a bagged bird and the confidence that you can properly harvest your own birds in a safe and efficient manner. Cost of chicken is included in the special fee. This class requires 48-hour advanced registration.
