Description
Students will gain an understanding of the child welfare system and the children and families it serves. They will develop core knowledge about the child welfare system and how to deliver services. The course will cover the history, definitions and philosophies of child welfare with an emphasis on practice and processes. A thorough knowledge of child protective services will be provided.
