Description
Enter into the wonderful, satisfying, and liberating world of apparel sewing. Sewing your own clothes is an intensely creative outlet and the possibilities are endless. Participants will learn everything from how to operate a sewing machine, how to pick out and read a sewing pattern and much more! We'll work through sewing a simple skirt together so that participants will have the confidence to sew more clothing projects. Your homework will be to purchase a pattern and fabric after the first session of class, expect to spend between $25-$50 depending on your preferences and “stash”. Students are required to bring their own sewing machines and instruction booklets (if available). An Annex parking permit, valid for each evening of the course, will be provided for registered students.
