YETEC 700 - Video Game Programming and Design Suite (Age 10-12)

Don't just play video games, make them! This suite of 4 awesome classes gives you a thorough introduction to creating video games. Start out at Spy Hop Productions exploring the two key aspects of game design: coding and graphic art. Then head to the University of Utah campus for three weeks of diving deeper into these two tracks of game design. Use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create awesome artwork. Then trade in drawing shapes for writing code as you learn two programming languages (QB64 and Python). By the end of the summer, you'll have created two games, designed eye-popping artwork, and learned the skills necessary to make the sky the limit!
