YESPR 52 - Build Your Own Long Board II: Custom Boards (Age 13-18)

Design, Build, Ride. Have a little bit of woodworking under your belt? Want to show off your skills and learn some new ones? Build a custom longboard with us! This week long design-build course gives students a chance to design and build their own longboard. From Pintails to Drop Throughs to Penny Cruisers, we'll use modern wood pressing techniques and old-fashioned hand tools to cut and shape a longboard to your specific design. The last day of class we'll take our new boards out for a spin, hooting and hollering as we ride our new creations. Students do not need to have taken our first longboard course but they should have some basic familiarity with building using wood.
