Prerequisites: "C-" or better in (ME EN 1010 OR CS 1000) AND Intermediate Major status in Mechanical Engineering.
Corequisites: "C-" or better in MATH 2250.
Description
Basic techniques for the modeling and numerical solution of problems in engineering with an emphasis on integrated systems design. Topics covered include: root finding, interpolation, approximation of functions, integration, differential equations, direct and iterative methods in linear algebra, and curve fitting.
