ANTH 6282 - Primate Evolution

Meets with ANTH 4282. This course explores the origin and evolution of the Order Primate from its origin in the Paleocene up to the diversification of modern species. Topics addressed include evolutionary theory, phylogeny and systematics, functional morphology, the reconstruction of primate behavior, and the relationship between fossil and living primates.
