Description
The ICND2: Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 2 online training course is the second half of the ICND curriculum associated with the CCNA Routing and Switching certification. The goal of this online training course is to provide students with the key skills needed to successfully install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot a small enterprise network. The ICND2 online training course focuses on redundant topologies, troubleshooting common networking issues, configuring EIGRP and multi-area OSPF in both IPv4 and IPv6, understanding WAN technologies, and becoming familiar with device management and Cisco licensing. This online training course provides preparation for the ICND2 exam and CCNA composite exam. Students pursuing their CCNA Routing and Switching certification should attend both ICND1 and ICND2 online training courses. Prerequisites: ICND1: Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 is a recommended prerequisite to this online training course. To get the most out of the classroom experience, students new to computer and network architectures should consider taking the CompTIA Network+ course prior to entry into this challenging Cisco curriculum: understanding of network fundamentals, experience implementing local area networks and Internet connectivity, experience managing network device security, experience implementing WAN and basic IPv6 connectivity.
