YESCI 208 - Math Comp Crusher! (Age 12-16)

This workshop will take a look at the world of mathematics competitions, which are an exciting way to challenge your skills and are a ton of fun! There are many comps out there, from local to international and from elementary to advanced undergraduate level. We will focus on high school level mathematics, up to, but not including, calculus. Topics covered will include probability, geometry, algebra, and number theory. This is a great workshop if you are looking to sharpen your math skills, challenge yourself, learn about new areas of mathematics, or prepare for one of the Mathematical Association of America's competitions offered during the school year. (Students should have a high interest in math).
