YESCI 206 - Math Olympics 1 (Age 6-8)

We're throwing away the chalkboard and teaching kids to think about numbers in a totally different way! Addition, subtraction, division and multiplication facts are crucial skills to master and many kids have a hard time learning them. Research has shown that a great way to show the relationship between numbers is to practice by repetition and use active games. This is where we come in. This summer Higher Ground Learning will be hosting the fourth annual Math Olympics! In this five-day workshop kids will start the day "training," (i.e. learning a math concept). Then, they'll spend the second half of the day using this knowledge to compete for the gold in our Math Olympics events!
