CHEM 7290 - Organic Chemistry of Materials

This course focuses on organic reactions and mechanisms as applied to the preparation of materials including polymers, self-assembled organic nanostructures, organic molecule-modified surfaces and nanoparticles. Functional materials for drug delivery, imaging, electronics and sensing are discussed in terms of the organic structures used for their preparations.
