OSHER 466 - Trip Planning, Solo Travel, and Barcelona, Spain

Older women are travelling independently in record numbers. Have you thought about joining the trend? Under the guidance of an experienced independent traveler who has lived in Barcelona, you will plan a trip of your choosing. While learning about Barcelona history and culture, you will see how to research an area and plan a trip. Class activities and group sharing will build excitement and confidence. The class will be highly interactive and students who invest some time outside of class will get the most out of it. Class members will be given first priority registration for a small-group trip to Barcelona where students and instructor will enjoy time together, then branch out on their own for a solo trip, meeting up again at the end of the trip to share their experiences before returning home.
