LLART 213 - Contemporary Landscape Painting

Explore how to use the landscape as an inspiration for contemporary ideas in painting and drawing. Unlock your creativity to re-create the landscape you see before your eyes. Learn how to be expressive and to experiment with paint, color, and composition. Students will cover large-scale painting, as well as abstractions and smaller art studies using acrylic paints and canvases. Registered students will be informed of class location. Canvases will be provided. Students, please bring brushes and acrylic paints. This class is based on plein-air painting and majority of class time will be outside.
