YESPR 136 - Wander and Wonder: Navigating the Wild (Age 9-13)

Would you know what to do if you were lost in the backcountry? Learn survival and navigation skills like triangulating with a map and compass, how to use the stars to find your way through the wild, or identifying topographical features and matching them to landscapes! Learn how to find shelter or build your own in case you have to spend a night in the wild. Devise ways to help your rescuers, like signaling or marking your path. You will get out into the wild Wasatch and hike several trails where you can practice your navigational skills and guide yourself out of the great unknown!
