ED PS 7851 - Learning with Visual Multimedia and External Representations

This course critically examines issues related to learning with visual multimedia and external representations, including theoretical approaches and research findings related to diagram use, animations, interactive technologies, multiple representations, and visuospatial displays. We will analyze critically connections between learning processes and external representations, using a theory-grounded approach to understanding multimedia learning from a variety of perspectives.
