Description
This course will use seminal literature, both current and historical, to examine the emergence and evolution of Occupational Science and to explore current issues, controversies, and alternative interpretations of Occupational Science. The temporal, spatial, physical and contextual aspects of occupation will be explored. The relationships of occupation to health, well-being and adaptation through the ICF and other models of participation will be considered. The relationship of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, and occupation-based will be explored.
