Description
Driving around neighborhoods, you can easily spot a landscape design that "works." Join a Master Gardener to develop an understanding of what distinguishes those yards that "work" from those that seem to cry out for help. We will cover the basics of designing your home landscape, including analyzing your current garden, picking a style, setting achievable goals, understanding microclimates and soil, and developing a plan. We will analyze common landscaping pitfalls to avoid, learn how to choose the right plants and study the basics of drip irrigation. You will learn how to enhance your yard through the use of containers and planters, structures, and other finishing touches.
