Both art and wine reflect the great diversity of life on our planet. In this class, Art Historian Laura Hurtado will guide participants through a tour of six examples of art from different regions of the world, including new UMFA acquisitions and works on temporary display. Then certified sommelier Michael Roussin will guide a parallel exploration by deciphering the influences and flavors of six wines from different areas of the world. Light refreshments will accompany the wine tasting. Sure to be an eye- and palate- opening experience! Please bring a photo ID that indicates your age.
