THEA 3740 - History of Musical Theatre

This is the second course in a two-semester series tracing the history of theatre and preformance. Through lectures, discussions, readings, and listening/viewing assignments, students trace the history of theatre and performance, focusing specifically on Musical Theatre, from the 17th century through present day.
