HONOR 3211 - Creative Writing Workshop

Creative Writing Workshop will operate under the protocols of a writer's workshop. By this, I mean that the primary text for the class will be what student writers compose for in class round table critiques. Specifically, student writers will draft four pieces - from genres including fiction, personal narrative, memoir, expose/ition, journalism, journal writing, biography, history, and essay- for class workshop. Sometime after workshop and before the final week, student writers will be asked to revise each essay and include an abstract noting how the piece developed through revision. This portfolio will be turned in during the last week in lieu of a final examination.
