Description
This course will provide an opportunity for students to practice various stretching techniques taken from exercise science, yoga and pilates. Whether the participant wishes to gain flexibility for sports, dance, or general fitness, every level of ability will be accommodated in a casual, supportive environment. Eccentric exercise, sustaining positions, and breathing will be incorporated into sessions with the goal of retaining/improving flexibility as strength.
