Description
Students will be exposed to a variety of common health assessments corresponding to each major anatomical and physiological systems of the body, and will learn how to perform several of these assessments. The assessments include blood pressure and heart rate, body composition, health risk appraisals, blood draws, cardiovascular fitness, and urinalysis. Additionally, students will learn about common diseases associated with each system and how to educate and work with individuals concerning these issues.
