Description
This class uses elaborate role-playing games to learn about important moments in history and the political, religious, economic, and social forces surrounding them. The games this semester include "Constantine and the Council of Nicaea," "The Second Crusade," and "Marlowe and Shakespeare.
Students read classic and historical texts and engage in debates over such issues as the nature of God, just wars, and regicide.
