OSHER 806 - Cultures of Utah

This class is an introduction to some of the ethnic/cultural groups that are the spice of life in Utah. Students will learn about the influences of Italian, Jewish, Irish, Pacific Islander and Japanese people on Utah. Discussion will be led by guest speakers from the representative groups. Guest speakers include: Will Unga (Pacific Islanders), Eileen Hallet Stone (Jews), Joanne Milner (Italians), Gerald McDonough (Irish), Rick Okabe (Japanese) and Dominic Raimondo (South Sudan).
